It is on the occasion of the Jump Festa 2023, an annual event during which most of the series published by the Japanese publisher Shueisha unveil their latest information, that we discover the announcement of an anime adaptation of the novel Sasuke Retsuden, under the format of an arc of the anime Boruto.
Already announced for January 23, 2023, in Japan, this special arc will precede the broadcasting of the arc CODE, which will follow it in February 2023.
A beautiful key visual, revealing a dark Sasuke Uchiwa and his legendary pupil, has also been revealed for the occasion.
As a reminder, the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is adapted from the eponymous manga, republished by Japanese publisher Shueisha in May 2016. In France, the manga has been published by Kana since March 2017 while its anime series adaptation can be found on the streaming platforms ADN and Crunchyroll.
The light novel Sasuke Retsuden: Uchiha no Matsuei to Tenkyuu no Hoshikuzu (Sasuke’s novel – The Riddle of the Drawing of the Asters) is written by Esaka Jun and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, published in Japan in Jump J Books magazine by publisher Shueisha in August 2019. The French version of the novel is published by Kana in November 2021.
