While Dragon Ball, a cult anime from the 80s, made a grand arrival on the streaming platform Animation Digital Network on December 15, it’s the turn of another title based on one of Akira Toriyama’s works to join the broadcaster’s catalog very soon.
Indeed, we learn this Tuesday evening that the anime Dr. Slump – Arale, based on the manga of the same name published in France by Glénat, will be available from Wednesday, December 21 at 5 pm on ADN!
The opportunity to discover or rediscover the adventures of Dr. Slump and Arale: the little robotic girl who appears several times in Dragon Ball, and whose adventures were broadcasted for the last time in France in the club dorothée on TF1.
In its original version, the series includes 243 episodes, of which only 54 have been broadcasted in France so far. For the moment, ADN has not specified how many episodes will be available, nor if they will be proposed in VOSTFR, in VF, or both.
Synopsis of Dr. Slump
Dr. Slump follows the adventures of Arale, a little girl robot created by Professor Slump, an eccentric inventor!
Arale is endowed with incredible superpowers, but she hasn’t yet fully understood the rules of human society and often causes problems unintentionally.
So the story focuses on her adventures as she explores the world and interacts with a whole bunch of people!
