While its broadcast is scheduled for January 9, 2023, in Japan, season 2 of the anime Vinland Saga is becoming clearer on this Monday, December 19, with the presentation of a brand-new trailer.
This trailer, shorter than the previous one, reveals a first glimpse of the ending of this second season, the song “Without Love”, interpreted by the Japanese singer LMYK. The singer Anonymouz will perform the song “River” for the opening of the season.
As a reminder, the anime is directed by Shuhei Yabuta at the animation studio MAPPA. Hiroshi Seki adapts Makoto Yukimura’s script for the TV format and Takahiko Abiru is credited for the characters’ design. The latter also directs the animation while Ogawa Kohei directs the 3D. Yamada Yutaka composed the music.
The anime Vinland Saga is adapted from the eponymous manga by Makoto Yukimura, republished in Japan by the publisher Kodansha in April 2005. The manga is published in France by Kurokawa while the first season of the anime series can be found on the streaming platforms Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.
